El amigo was a stop on the Erie walking food tour. We had chicken tacos and homemade (at the table!) guacamole that was out of this world! “Magic Mike,” our server, is a great storyteller and a very positive person. Entire restaurant is fun and different. El Amigo is able to serve a delicious gluten free meal.

Very good food and very nice staff. We loved the chips and salsa and also ordered queso which was so good! It was a busy night but worth the wait.

Was there on Cinco de Mayo so I expected a wait. As I was dining alone, it was going to be an 1.5 hour wait and no seating in wait area or at bar. I went next door fora drink. I returned in 1 hour and was told I wasn't present when they called my name. I had to submit my name again. Fro. That point on, I had a great and festive experience. The food and drink options are and were plentiful and delicious! On a busy night, I recommend a better process knowing a table is available. Like a portable buzzer.

Came to El Amigo Mexican Grill place for dinner. When my friend and I came, were seated within minutes and ordered our dinner. I Ordered chicken chimichanga - glad I ordered it and ate most of it - very good, cooked well done. Pleased with overall experience and had wonderful waiter, Ismael , who did an awesome job - accurate order taken and got our food what we ordered. Well worth it ! Definitely recommend others food at El Amigo Mexican Grill restaurant !

The tacos are AMAZING here. The staff are so friendly. Some true authentic Mexican cuisine here. I’ve only had a few of their mixed drinks but so far, none of them have disappointed me.
